Safeguarding at Grove House

Safeguarding our students is a priority at Grove House. Our policies and practices ensure that our students are monitored effectively and are able to develop in a safe and supportive environment.

At Grove House, we follow the Southend, Essex and Thurrock Guidelines for Child Protection (SET), found at Essex Safeguarding Children Board.

All volunteers and visitors should be aware of our procedures for safeguarding children. Our policies include:

Safeguarding Team

We have a designated Safeguarding Team here at Grove House. If you are concerned about the safety or well-being of a child you must report it straight away to the safeguarding leads.
